1 head lettuce (torn fine forsalad)
1 avocado (cubed)
Method:
Boil the eggs until the get hard and then dry them. Now fry the bacon and crumble it. Take a bowl and mmix all the ingredients in it.
8. BLACK & BLUE SALAD
Carbs Per Serving - 20
Preparation Time - 15
Ingredients:
2 heads of butterhead lettuce
6 oz. of cold leftover steak (sliced thin)
8 cherry tomatoes (sliced in half)
6 oz. bleu cheese
10 tablespoons heavy cream
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon vinegar (optional)
Method:
Take a small mixing bowl and beat the heavy cream and mayonnaise together. Now, crumble half the bleu cheese into the mixture (keep the other half for a garnish) and stir a few times. Add a drizzle of the vinegar if it is too thick. Chill the mixture for at least 2 hours for a much intense flavor.
Now, slice the butterhead lettuce in wedges or you can also tear it into pieces according to your needs and place the mixture on 4 salad plates. Pour the bleu cheese dressing over the lettuce. Arrange  the strips of cold steak and four cherry tomato halves over the lettuce. And finally, sprinkle the reserved bleu cheese on top and garnish it with a grind of fresh pepper and serve immediately.
9. BLUE CHEESE DIP/DRESSING
Carbs Per Serving - 8g total
Ingredients:
4 ounces bleu cheese (crumbled)
4 ounces sour cream
4 ounces mayonnaise
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
Method:
Mix all the ingredients and refrigerate for 1/2 an hour before serving.
10. BRUSCHETTA STYLE TOMATO TURKEY SALAD
Serves: 1 or 2
Carbs Per Serving: 8 approx.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup ground turkey
1 cup mixed lettuce
1 tomato
4 or 5 kalamata olives
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1 or 2 T olive oil
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
1 teaspoon basil paste (or a few leaves of finely chopped fresh basil)
Method:
Take a small bowl and dice the tomato and place in a small bowl. Now add small olives, olive oil, garlic, basil and salt and pepper to taste.
Serve over a bed of mixed lettuce and your Bruschetta Style Tomato Turkey Salad is ready to serve!!!
